Contacted the council and they have agreed in part to take amounts of monies from my JSA once it is processed. I have asked them to put this in writing.

Just a follow up to say: JSA is in force - the housing benefit section have just worked out my entitlement as of yesterday. I am yet to receive an officical letter which is due some time this week. My council tax instalments have been worked out from my JSA.
On the positive front, I am lined up for 3 interviews this week/next week.0
