Not sure if this the right place to post but in the US they have launched the DVD& blueray of Madagascar 3 this week. I have just received my copy from Amazon.com yesterday so for almost the same cost as 4 cinema tickets we got a dvd, blue ray, digital copy & Marty's wig (which is a multi coloured wig not what I thought it would be a mini dvd!!)
I know that Brave is due out in the States in November so that might be another one to get.
I have no idea why Dreamworks decided to leave the UK launch so late when they premiered it back in June for USA & Canada??

Just a word of caution to anyone in the UK looking at ordering this from the US - you will need a multi-region blu-ray or DVD player in order to play the discs. US blu-rays and DVDs won't ordinarily play in a UK player.0

Hi the blue ray copy works perfectly with my son's PS3 and the dvd is working on my daughers pc plus we have a digital copy as well.
Agree with Pinkteapot on the region 1 USA or Region 2 Europe but most people I think are aware of the differences
it just seems weird that Dreamworks have taken so long to launch this film in the UK when it was out in June in the states.0 -
You've also got to be very careful, the item gets caught in customs and you will have at least an £8 release fee to pay plus whatever charges on top, could work out quite costly!0

With Amazon.com they take all the fees prior and was sent DHL too certainly saved a great deal of stress trying to take 2 disabled children to the cinema0

nowadays blu-ray players are pretty much all regions, certainly if it appears locked to R1 then there are a ton of hacks to clear that.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers, multi region DVDs can be great value.
Play DVDs from HK can be £2 or £3, I can't even send a postcard for that money!Sealed pot challange no: 3390 -
