I received an email from here:

they offer a dropshipping service. You pay £20, then can use their stuff to sell on ebay and then they post it (you pay them a lower price and sell on ebay higher to make a profit). DOes this seem legitimate, or is it just another rip off?
ANyone any ideas?
TIA

Hi there,
My name is Neil Greenfield and I'm Managing Director of Virtual Relations Limited based in Milton Keynes, UK.
It would appear Becles is in fact mis-representing both McFile and Virtual Relations Ltd.
First of all we have been running successfully in Milton Keynes for just over 5 years and won the McFile account approximately 2 years ago. Feel free to check our chartered accounts at companies house for evidence. McFile and its sole owner are not employed or responsible for the company of which I am director of.
Secondly, one of the beauties of an automated web business is that physical/geographic location has little baring on the productivity of a given venture. We have several clients, including McFile who have a monthly turnover far greater than that of many of our clients with large offices and higher overheads.
Thirdly, McFile ARE a dropshipper. They source products from various suppliers across the country, buy in bulk to gain a better saving which they attempt to pass on to the 'trade customer' while taking (obviously) a profit for themselves. If Becles really had any idea what she was talking about she would know you cannot make profit as a middle-middle man, as the dropshipping industries profit margins do not allow this.
Fourth, one of our best clients is a one-person operation and has an operating turnover of 2.5million. Do you really think that in todays 'virtual' environment physical size restricts opportunity?
Fifth, the 'owner' of McFile tell me you are his brothers wife. Its interesting that in todays harsh climate you can't even count on family. Please note, that was a personal statement, not a debateable point.
And finally, to shoe1206, if you are asking if you will 'get rich quick' by paying McFile £20.00 the answer is sadly no. If you are asking 'can McFile be trusted to offer a variety of products with a sensible sales margin' the answer is yes. McFile currently have trade customers across the world (mainly Europe) who enjoy the service provided.
Remember, when sailing a ship you need three points of reference to triangulate your position. I would be wary of listening to any ONE person's advice. Well, now you have my feedback, that of Becles and your own. Feel free to contact my office on 01908 26 99 55 or email ng@virtualrelations.co.uk to clarify anything further.
Happy shopping.
