rachyroo1985 wrote: »Well it did end up being a NSD for me yesterday.
Today is not the same story unfortunately.
I am having my nails done for free by a trainee in my friend's salon which is good.
I'm also going to pay £2 in coppers to my bank so I can have a £2 PAD later.
However it's my MIL's 50Th meal tonight so spendy spendy!! But it's only at a 2 for £10 place and we have a £5 voucher to use so food should only be £5 for 2 of us. Setting a budget of £20 for the whole night so we shall see how we go and we may even have change.
Hope everyone has a good day today and spends wisely.
xxxx
All very MSE:D Doing well Rachy
Enjoy having the nails done and the evening out Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

So my PAD is done, nails done for free and voucher and £20 ready for later.
Whilst in town I decided to check my Boots advantage card balance: £7.55. So bought a home hair dye and now also have freshly coloured shiny new hair. Also got some lunch with points as wasn't at home for lunch and had been thinking I would have to buy some.
So my only actual spend for today will be the meal later. :T:T
I have also joined Tesco home panel and Swagbucks.
Is there a particular thread for NSD'S as I want to set myself a target for November as i think it would help to keep on track by counting on my signature. Not a very good day today. Was supposed to be at work all day and on a sleep in. However, I ended up at the emergency docs with severe back pain. They were unhelpful and said they didn't know what it was and weren't willing to investigate. I was packed off with painkillers and sent home. Painkillers not working and I feel miserable.
Not an NSD due to prescriptions charge and a few groceries so feeling a bit sorry for myself.
However, on the upside I came back with £1.50 from the meal last night plus a 20% off voucher for food next time I visit. Seeing as it's a 2for £10 place it will make a cheap night out.
Hopefully back on it and feeling better tomorrow xxxxBC: £2000/£3800 S Loan 1: £4973.37/£7000 S Loan 2: £6884.13/£9000 Next:[STRIKE] £0/£280 [/STRIKE]OD: [STRIKE]£0/£500[/STRIKE]

If you're a big Tesco fan, what do you do with your clubcard points? I use mine for entertainment - meals out, days out etc - perhaps you could use these to cut your entertainment bill? I never pay for food when I dine out anymore

I have seen something about this before. Do I have to change my settings online or can I just take my normal vouchers to the restaurants etc??BC: £2000/£3800 S Loan 1: £4973.37/£7000 S Loan 2: £6884.13/£9000 Next:[STRIKE] £0/£280 [/STRIKE]OD: [STRIKE]£0/£500[/STRIKE]

You have to convert them first into vouchers you can use for offers. They are typically worth 3-4 times the face value of the clubcard vouchers so real savings can be made. Go to the clubcard section on the Tesco website to see what vouchers you have and the many, many places you can spend them.
Tesco will often try to tempt you into spending them instore or on other Tesco products but you don't get anywhere near the same value doing this, plus it means they get to keep the profits too

The double up offer are good too - especially with Christmas coming up they are bound to run it again - we have bought lap tops cameras phones etc through T*sco double up scheme - can do it on line or if you have one of the large T*sco everything stores nearby, in the shop
Also check on line which vouchers you have/haven't used - sometimes you can find ones that have been missed and all you have to do is print them outBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Thanks guys, I have now checked for unused vouchers (none
), I have looked on the website and now know (I think) how to use vouchers for rewards although it seems as though my vouchers may be in post for this statement period. Can I use the ones i get posted to change for rewards?
Hopefully an NSD today. Still in a lot of pain with my back so will not be doing much at all which means no spendy spendy!!! Should be able to skim bank account and make a PAD too xxBC: £2000/£3800 S Loan 1: £4973.37/£7000 S Loan 2: £6884.13/£9000 Next:[STRIKE] £0/£280 [/STRIKE]OD: [STRIKE]£0/£500[/STRIKE]
