Advice please????

Has anyone used Webuydvds.co.uk for selling cds and dvds???

I am planning on using them as they are offering decent prices.

Any advice would be great

Thanks in advance

I think there are some mentions of them on the Up Your Income section of the forum - might be worth trying a search of the forum to see any posts mentioning them?

  • Oooooh these guys are great. Sold 10 dvds for a tenner I think... they are fast with their checking / payment too!

I have sent DVDs to these people twice now. Never again :(

Last time I sent a boxed set of North & South in my order and apparently 1 disc was missing (I checked everything before sending) so no payment for that.

Last week I sent many DVDS, including a brand new complete boxed set of Sex and the City in a shoebox(18 discs) which they were going to pay me £15 for alone. Apparently the Boxed set was broken! (account says, Failed due inner rim of disc been cracked) and 5 DVDs were missing altogether. Under their terms and conditions they do not have to return them if faulty and no payment either!

I could have given that as a gift to someone. I will be seeking further advise and pursuing this. I am extremely upset.
  • we go through magpie when we sell ours online and have had no problem hope that helps

Sorry if I've done something wrong by bumping an old post (I'm new here!) but I'd be intrigued to find out how you got on with this. Alternatively, does anyone know if the WeBuyDVDs.co.uk website T&Cs are the be-all & end-all in this scenario or if there is a way to challenge it? I've had a similar experience and it's left a bad taste in the mouth, even if it's only left me a few quid out of pocket...
