I uninstalled an old version of Firefox and it's deleted my bookmarks? :-(

I thought I'd uninstall an old version of Firefox and didn't realise it unistalled my current version.

I haven't done a back up in a while :-(

Anyway, I thought a system restore would work but it didn't :-( have lost all my bookmarks and is there anyway I can get them back?

Have a look in C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles is there anything there ?

Once I get too C:\Users\Yourname\

I don't see AppData?

If you click users\yourname and app data isn't an option, click tools, folder options, view to see if there is a dot in show hidden files. If there isn't put the dot there and click apply.

Yes after I do C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

it shows 2 folders 'Crash Reports' and 'Profiles' and a file called 'Profiles'

Have you two folders under profiles ? ... Sorry I am linux at the mo

Keep clicking profiles and look for bookmark backups

Put the dot back just in case, as having hidden files showing as standard isn't much use anyways

That is todays, it may be the new version but try Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks/Import and Backup then import ....
