I need some help with Christmas present ideas!

Hi everyone!

So it's that time of year again :j

My boyfriend and I are starting early this year in an attempt to beat the price hikes at Christmas.

Been rather successful so far, presents bought for both our Mum's, one female relation and my father.

Have a few left to buy, does anyone have any ideas for the following:
Male (17), male (20) - our brothers, his father and our grandparents.

I'm struggling to think of ideas for my OH too, he's 23 and this is our fourth Christmas together. I'm a student and he's a graduate in full time employment so our budget isn't too large... actually it's teeny!

Thanks for all the ideas for females, we defo used some! Loved the mug filled with fave sweets idea! I bought one of the lovely CK mugs which were on offer and will fill with sweeties!

Thanks for any ideas!

xx :)

    How about:
Male 17 - a wallet. I got this one yesterday and it's lovely, and a complete bargain

Male 20 - a t shirt set. Again, this is great quality and a bargain

What sort of things are the Father and Grandparents into?

    Hi Madvixen!

    Thanks for your suggestions.

My brother (the 17 yo) actually already has a quick silver wallet which is a weird coincidence! I know the 20yo got one last Christmas too which is annoying!!

I like the idea of the t-shirt set too but i'm not so sure he will appreciate it.. normally just stocks up in Primark.

The 20yo is a first year uni student (probably should have mentioned this before) and is in halls, I was thinking maybe of something to brighten up his uni room? I know when I was in halls I always wanted homely bits.

I'd love to get him clothing but i'm always wary incase of size/fit.

Thanks for your reply... is it too early to say :xmassign:??

    :D

    Grandparents and Dad..

This is where I am struggling most, I literally have no ideas. They don't have any big hobbies and they have everything in their homes that I can think of... *brain frazzles*
  • Are you set on giving actual presents or would you give gift cards/vouchers? The 17 and 20 year old might appreciate these more so they could pick something they would like.

    That's true, hadn't considered it.

I'd like to get my brother (17) an actual present as he doesn't often spend himself unless it's a new camera/computer etc so I don't know whether he'd use it.

The 20 year old could use a voucher at uni, now the issue is where from and how much!
