Cheap Batteries - AA and AAA

Does anyone know of any offers for cheap batteries at the moment? Need them for remote controls in the house.

If you have a Lidl near you, they have rechargeable ones for £1.99 and are very good. In packs of 4 ... would work out much cheaper to buy them and a chargers ... and it'll be cheaper in the long run;)I can say whatever I like here ... robert dyas stores and robertdyas online are selling packs of 12 (aa,aaa), for £6.99 BUT bogof deal so 24 for £6.99 - so - works out at 29p per battery...bargain.0

Packs of 4 AA or AAA are 79p in Morrisons with advertised offer "buy 2 packs for £1".
So that's 8 batteries for a quid, not bad.
However, at my local Morrisons they are going through as BOGOF, so 8 batteries for 79p, even better!
