Folding chairs help please!?!

Hello!

I need to get 4 durable folding chairs by saturday with drinks holders, carry cases and not so upright (I like to slouch :D ) if that makes sense!

I have seen a few at around the £20 mark .. and well ... I'm a (|) :D and what I really need to know is it worth forking out the extra for a branded chair or will a plain unbranded one do in terms of durability and quality .... don't want it to give way as soon as my rear says hello to it! :o :rotfl: We go to the beach once a week if the sun is out so it has got to last.

Something like this would be ideal ....

Not like this one ... see what I mean about it being a bit too upright?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your tips/advice etc :D

    Hiya,

we bought ours from Asda about 5 years ago. They cost about £3.50 each and are still going strong. My husband is the wrong side of 20 stone so they have certainly lasted well.

I can slouch in ours, but I guess it will vary from brand to brand. If you have a HomeBargains store near you, they had them in there for £5 yesterday.

I personally wouldn't pay an extra £15 per chair that will probably not last any longer, but then I'm tight! For four chairs that is £60! Think how much food/beer/clothes/etc you could get for that.

Hope this helps, sorry it's a little rambley.

We use these type of chairs for camping and have found that quality varies. The better ones have reinforcment around the leg holes etc and it is worth getting chairs with webbing support underneath. We found that the cheap versions split within the week.
