I've been browsing this forum all morning, looking for new low cost meal ideas and have shopped accordingly.. So thank you for that as I've saved a fortune!!
I want to cook this... http://www.waitrose.com/home/recipes/recipe_directory/b/braised_red_cabbage_with_apple.html but I have no red wine vinegar and the shops have just closed!!!
Can I substitute with just red wine? Or anything else??
Thank you xxx

I'ed drink some of the wine first;) then use some instead of the vineger... is the vineger inthere to add some sourness? if so maybe a drop of white?today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

I have made this many times without the red wine vinegar. you can add just wine and a splash of whatever vinegar you have, but personally I just drink the wine and add whatever vinegar I have, its delicious just the same, enjoy.Slimming World at target0
