I am keen to manage my money so that I can account to the VERY last penny BUT I'm struggling on how best to keep tabs on all my spends so that I don't over complicate things but likewise, I want to be able to see where all my money is going, identify where I can make savings etc So I thought I would start this thread as a…

I have been using a spreadsheet but found myself overcomplicating it - a spreadsheet for all the various shops I spend money in - now I'm thinking of one sheet for income, one for expenditure with an income summary and one as a diary to record everyday spends. Bottom line is I'm spending money without budgeting so need to budget first then spend! (or not spend as the case may be !)
