Becky's Debt Diary-need to keep on the straight and narrow!

I’m going to start a daily debt diary because I’ve had another lightbulb moment today. I had a lightbulb moment in the New Year but I’ve let things run away with me again and can see that I’m on my way to racking up more debt on my HSBC card by being lazy and not making my sandwiches and wasting money at the canteen at work (have also managed to put on weight doing this as well!) From today I am going to focus completely on clearing my debts. I’ve lurked on here for ages and have been inspired by some of the success stories and sheer willpower of people on here so there is no excuse for me! I’m a part time working mum of one who finds it hard to manage on my wage now I have childcare costs on top but I know I will have much more money if I can concentrate on clearing my debts. I’ve retrained most of my habits the money saving expert way-cut down on my shopping budget, I don’t splurge on clothes if I feel down in the dumps anymore and I’ve stopped buying magazines but I’m terrible for wasting money in dribs and drabs-mostly on food when I’m peckish at work. What a waste-especially when I want to lose weight. I also find it hard to get motivated to sell things on ebay in the evening and send off things like my dog insurance bill to get my money back that I pay £20 each month in insurance for. I work four days and have a demanding 13month year old so rarely get much spare time but I am now going to do it.
Today’s tasks are
1. Send off the dog insurance bill.
2. Write down everything I can ebay
3. Send my feedback on something I have sold on ebay and transfer my paypal money.
I can’t post tomorrow because I’m going to my MIL’s wedding-more expense

Know what you mean about the lunches. I keep meaning to make mine at night ready for the morning, but always find excuses - then spend about £20 a week buying lunches! Good luck with your daily goals. Remember if you don't make it one day - it doesn't mean you have to give up. Well done on the changes you have already made.
