LOVE FOOD - HATE WASTE - Mary Berry & Paul Hollywood

I went to the BBC Good Food Show at the SECC yesterday and picked up a leaflet called 'Love Food Hate Waste'. This is produced in Scotland to promote recycling. There were some great recipes in it and plenty of tips and ideas at the stand.
There were Cookery Demonstrations throughout the day, with tips to help you make the most of your food, and your money, by reducing waste in your kitchen.
The first guest Demonstrator was Paul Hollywood who, apart from making scrummy flatbreads with leftover fruit, veg, cheese, etc (stilton and grape - wasted food - not in my house:rotfl:). Showed you with ease, how to make the 8 plaited loaf, (from the GBB) in under a minute.
In the afternoon Mary Berry made a Mincemeat Bread & Butter Pudding and a Spinach and Fish Pie. Both again with leftovers.
I am very good at using/freezing leftovers but there is always room for improvment. So the hints and tips in the leaflet and at the show ere very useful.
There is a website - lovefoodhatewaste.com and also a mobile app.
Got me thinking and has made me more aware of waste again.
