HI, well done with everything so far, have a look on Freecycle for Gym equipment you never know what you can find for free!

Good luck on your journey :-)

Thanks completely forgot about that site, I'd rather use the money to pay towards debt, but want to buy some health equipment to work out at some time. I'll check out the freestuffs first, maybe try to beg and borrow :D

But you are not sacrificing everthing for debt busting if you are treating yourself on a regular basis surely?
True, but I mentioned in my original post I'm stubborn as a donkey at times

I don't believe in sacrificing everything, but I'm not treating myself consistently. I can't tell you the last time I actually wasted money to buy something for myself

Got my payslip for this month, getting £1907 so I'm going to pay off my capital one card.

Shouldn't use my overdraft, worked out it still leaves me around £300 until end of month so will probably do xmas shopping with it or buy my gym equipment for working out.

I firmly believe if your sacrificing everything for debt busting you should treat yourself often or you'll go mad. Given I'm single and live alone copious treats should be undertaken me thinks I'm still working towards a bigger goal.

I may even pay off my tumble dryer with that money and it will save me another £12 p/m for debts.

Next week when I'm on hols for work I've been thinking about going up a local hill near me. It's around 400/500m long (dalton park) and it's fairly steep go for an early morning walk me thinks

    This is the hill btw...

Fine then, not sacrificing everything but I'll still be paying off my debt. How's that :)

Capital one card now clear. I'm going to be stung this month because I've got xmas shopping to do but at least that's one card paid off. I've been thinking about focussing on my HBSC card instead of my vanquis one since it's a higher balance and if I can reduce that by a chunk it would save a large amount of money for me.

Just coming on here to have more of a vent that anything else lately, I feel like I'm on the edge of a nervous breakdown and today because of knowing the causes of my worries has cause me considerable anger inside my noggin which ended up me having a 10 min thought in my head over me having an argument with family having a massive breakup after me leaving a scornful remark them dying and me committing suicide with guilt over it

So yeah I'm having a bad day. I'm dealing with my own financial issues, family financial issues, a potential job less or wage loss and all at the same time as trying to maintain a healthy balance.

Needless to say if 2013 doesn't give me much change either financially or something which relieves my own stress my mental or physical health (or both) is going to suffer and I'm going to crack

    Stuff this week bothering me..
    • Sold ebay item, courier damaged it so had to refund customer and now trying to seek damaged item compensation so out of pocket for that
    • Had to lend money to family to buy fuel and general items
    • Had to bail out brother on his outstanding credit card bills due to outside influences
    • Found out my job is changing at work next year so I'm going to lose maybe 2-3000 per year come April
    • Found out my weight has increased .5st (boooo)
    • Got a dentist appointment, xmas shopping and xmas presents to pay for yet
I don't really like venting my problems and don't really like sharing my personal life here but I need somewhere to vent.

It never rains but it pours so to speak and there's been enough of that this year!

I'm trying to redirect all my energy into housework and moneymaking at the moment I'm busy rebuilding my website and designing a new website to improve on my skills. I'm going to try and look into a mortgage mainly for the reason of reducing my bills as it will also help out family. I'm single so no-one to share troubles with but also I don't want to burden others with my worry. I deal with my own problems but I refuse to hide away from them too.

Gonna have a long bath now and listen to some mooosic, try and chill out a bit whilst I surf the interwebs

How is everyones new year going so far?

Not looking good for me this month, all the bills to pay. I've thought about putting £30 per month towards xmas at least so it gives me a bit of free money

This month, I've got 4 car tyres, front brakes and tax to pay so around (£400) then car insurance next month. Is it Quidco the site where you can buy car insurance online and get cashback?

Still working on sorting my money out what I'm missing from my eBay courier, aswell as expecting to get £80 back from the brother I loaned him.

Not looking forward to these next 2-3 months so trying to use the first 9 months of the year to sort out my finances when the last 3 months will be screwing me over probably

On the upside. Lost another 1/2 stone considering I ate like a pig over xmas and still rarely change what I eat in terms of junk food and website is slowly starting to build visitors and money from adsense so that may turn into a better source of cashflow.

I'm trying to boost the YT videos as that can turn into a really big potential source of income. I have so many ideas for videos just never get time to make the darn things!

Just a quick update so far, haven't really been posting much. I'm spending more and more time updating my personal website as I'm improving my skills. Lost a total of 2st so far (1lb per week) only doing it for me so I'm not in a rush. Planning on dropping another 2 before summer this year :D

Anyway, I've been approved from my bank for a loan of £2000 I'm going to clear my vanquis and capital one as the APR is stupidly high (probably around £100 per month for cards) whereas the loan is only £50 per month.

I've also received £950 back from HRMC for tax so paid that straight onto my HSBC credit card. Still chipping away, but it's saving me around £100 more money per month now which helps free up finances for more savings
