Well - aside from the obvious "untick the boxes" to stop good honest companies bombarding you with spam e-mails, you can also use this site:

http://www.spambox.us/

Simply go there and enter your REAL e-mail address along with a time period (such as 1 week) and it will give you a temporary spam address (something like tHf42cXVKZkmrAZk@spambox.us).

Register with this temporary address, and anything sent to it during the time period will be forwarded to your real e-mail address. After that, the address will just die.

Very good for forms that require a real address for "verfication" but then never need to mail you ever again

I tried this link last week and have heard nothing - apart from an e-mail addressed to my husband, entitled "Greatest Goals Video" which when opened, had several scantilly clad women and as far as we could tell, nothing to do with goals! Not happy with this and am afraid to unsubscribe, as this can sometimes lead to worse things happening!!! Be careful out there! :mad:

Monkey magazine is published by Dennis (a long established magazine publisher) and is an online 'lads' mag - so you should have no problems unsubscribing from them if you are getting things you don't want in their emails!
