are these particular ones really good? or is it a case of GHD straighteners are the best but only if you get top of the range ones. My daughter would like some new straighteners but seems a lot to pay even though it's a lot off the price and i read some reviews that weren't particularly good. Would appreciate some advice from someone who already has these particular ones. thanks

I've had my pair (same model) for 5 going on 6 years now and they're still as good as new and work better than any pair I've tried before. The other models (the glossy ones, peacock design etc) are the same basic model just with fancy finishes. I'd definitely recommend them at this price :money:

I'll give a much more Mse idea, after posting this for everyone else my cable was crackling this morning and they cut out *hyperventilates* but after eight years I thought they'd had it. When I took them apart just to satisfy myself the cable is actually completely replaceable and just plugs in. £5 off eBay. Well chuffed.

There is still a 10% code though that makes them £71 new.
Too many children, too little time!!!
