Paying off a loan

I'm going to give you some really, really boring advice.
It is......
Don't ever buy a scratchcard or gamble ever, ever again.
You got lucky, which is fab. But gambling will not build sustainable finances. If you keep gambling over time you WILL lose. Casinos, bookies, arcades etc aren't charities - they're businesses and quite profitable ones.
So enjoy the win, but walk away.0 -

I missed a few mths payment then sought advice @ CAB , they advised me to get in touch with CCCS which i did and am paying back the £1 a mnth, now here's the problem, i have been lucky enough to win £1000 on a scratch card(1st one i ever bought) lucky sod :j. Now can i phone the creditors and try and do a deal with them (i owe £1600) to see if they'll take £1000 and call it quits, or carry on paying them £1 a mnth , and then pay off some bills..
just need some good advice really.
thanks
Hi Satchboogie and thanks for your post.
I hope you don’t mind me jumping in on the thread.
As you’ve already spoken to us I’d recommend that you call back for some more advice.
If a full and final settlement is possible we have a dedicated team that can handle the process on your behalf.
I hope this helps.
