Yes - you do need a deposit to buy a house nowadays. :rotfl:
I was once offered a 110% mortgage back in the loony times of the 90s. Thank God I waited, not that I could have afforded anything bigger than a studio flat in those days. They say that paying rent is 'dead money' but paying interest on a loan is also 'dead money' - and paying stamp duty and all the fees associated with buying and selling houses is also 'dead money'. It's time people in this country looked at houses as places to live in, not investments.0 -
Some people are paying less interest then the inflation rate. It depends on the rent that would be payable but the largest cost is the loan and thats cheaper then ever, it bares looking at0
