Fallen off the DFW wagon - getting back on - anyone want to join me?

Well I fell of the wagon in spectacular style over the past two weeks, ashamed to admit spent £200  , admittedly on some items such as clothes and shoes for DS1 as badly needed but the rest on items for myself which I didn't need:o
So, just back to work and today is a brand new day, have just clambered back on the wagon, anyone else want to join me?

sorry! I fall of the wagon on a regular basis, it stops me going insane! hehe but yeah I seriously need to behave a little better so I'll join you....what are we doing then?
dont' feel too bad about the slip, we all do it from time to time, the fact you managed to stop it at a relatively small amount is a testiment to you not totally falling off the wagon, more a dangle from the side0 -

I need to start doing something serious!!

Well tonight I'll go through the clothes and take some back tomorrow for a refund. I also listed some stuff on ebay last night to make up for the spending spree.
So welcome to all those clambering on the DFW wagon with me. I guess this is just a little reminder to keep going even when you do slip up. Have to say this is my first slip up this year, I still have the paying the mortgage off in 5 years challenge and think I've made a good start. I guess people do slip up every now and then. All I can say is thank goodness for this website and all you lovely people to keep us all going :jDFW Nerd no: 1490 -
I'll join you, I've fallen off the DFW wagon, mainly over the Easter Break. I'll be dusting off my spending diary and getting stuck in again.
I'm going to buy a ticket for a holiday to New Zealand and Australia this week, but this is from money in the Bank and not credit. It does mean that my debt will take a couple more months to clear, but it is debt that is at 0% interest, and I have to get my flight booked."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." Welcome Bobble-Hat. Glad you're using money already in the bank. The £200I spent was in the bank also but the money could have been put to better use
Must dig out my spending diary and start that too, thanks for reminding me :TDFW Nerd no: 1490 -
So going to join you guys!! I'm rubbish at staying focussed, when I go clothes shopping, I pick whatever it is up, walk aroung with it looking at other bits, then just hang it back on the nearest shelf and walk out the shop!!
I haven't started a spending diary, too scared to face it!!LBM - March 2007
