Re the joint account, i would have thought that either one of your banks should be able to add you on as you second party to the other's account, as that doesn't usually necessitate another credit score. Or one or the other should be able to do you a Basic Bank account - have you asked about that?Unsecured DFD Aug '07 :jBought grown-up house Feb '08Mortgage Balance [strike] £165,000[/strike]£147,500 :rolleyes:0

Do you think this is wise
IF i get my charges back
1. Use half as deposit for a new house to rent (new baby on the way) put the rest into my Wescot loan (balance at -1,300)
OR
3. Put the lot into the loan and clear it, forget about moving house.Debt at start (Aug 2003): £13,500 >>Debt Now (Aug 2013): £3,104

Personally I would clear the loan if you can live where you are at the mo with the baby.
You can think about moving when the child is a little older and needs more space - you might be in a better position then?

Thanks yeah, we decided last night that's the best plan of action (providing HSBC pay up) we already have 1 daughter, who's nearly 18 months so 2 kids will definately require more space but until the new baby is walking i think we'll be okDebt at start (Aug 2003): £13,500 >>Debt Now (Aug 2013): £3,104
