    Re the joint account, i would have thought that either one of your banks should be able to add you on as you second party to the other's account, as that doesn't usually necessitate another credit score. Or one or the other should be able to do you a Basic Bank account - have you asked about that?

    Yes my partner is with Smile and they wont add me. And i am with HSBC but they wont add him.

    Do you think this is wise

    IF i get my charges back

    1. Use half as deposit for a new house to rent (new baby on the way) put the rest into my Wescot loan (balance at -1,300)

    OR

    3. Put the lot into the loan and clear it, forget about moving house.

    Personally I would clear the loan if you can live where you are at the mo with the baby.

    You can think about moving when the child is a little older and needs more space - you might be in a better position then?

    Thanks yeah, we decided last night that's the best plan of action (providing HSBC pay up) we already have 1 daughter, who's nearly 18 months so 2 kids will definately require more space but until the new baby is walking i think we'll be ok
