Ditch them straight away! They are scum!

Cancel your DD with them. How long have you been with them? What do you pay them and what do they take?

I am paying £100 that was ment to go down to £60 after a few months but it hasn't.

Youv'e all opened my eyes and I do need to change. I am going to give CCCs a ring.

Hi JJ - you WON'T regret talking to CCCS.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Did you say that they are still negotiating with your creditors? Have they made any payments to your creditors? If they haven't I would ask them for all your money back.

If they refuse contact the Office of Fair Trading as the rules say that any payments they receive from you for your creditors, have to be paid to creditors within 5 working days of funds being cleared in their bank.

They are also perhaps a member of DEMSA and a complaint should be lodged with them too.

I agree with SS, Eurodebt are scum.
  • Report them to your local trading standards. They are required by their licence not to be deceitful etc. Write a letter to Euro debt stating that due to the fact they have not done what they say they would do ie manage your debt and relationship with your creditors you will consider them to be in breach of contract. Give them 7 days to respond.

I phoned eurodebt......... The £500+ that I have paid them so far.......has gone on their instruction fee. NONE ON MY DEBTS.

    NOT HAPPY

I phoned CCCS too, got an appointment over the phone tomorrow.
  • Do that letter re the small claims. If you take action against them (assuming its competent) then they will have to appear in court if they wish to defend it. This will cost them a lot of money. If they don't defend the action then a decree will be made in your favour. If Euro Debt don't pay then they will have a CCJ against their company. Contact Experion, Equifax and Call Credit to lodge this. Euro Debt will then have problems re their credit rating, an impotant thing for a business.
