"Mulberry" online outlet

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I recently visited Bicester village for the first time (wonderful!) and thought perhaps they had an online site. I was directed via a search engine to mulberrybagoutlets.uk.com and was thrilled when I thought I could purchase a lovely purse at a great price. Had I been more thorough with my research I would have noted that the site does explain that the goods are not genuine. However, I only latched onto this fact after I received an email with a tracking number for my order, it was coming from Hong Kong.

I have called my credit card company but they have said that as I authorised the transaction there is nothing they can do unless the goods arrive and are not as advertised (the site does actually say they are not genuine - I just didn't read this when I ordered) or if they don't arrive.

My other alternative is to return them to China and hope for the best? Obviously this would incur postage charges but that would be less than the cost of the purse - which is still fairly substantial and I am not happy paying for a counterfeit good (I am a student and this was supposed to be a treat for my birthday).

Please can anyone offer me any advice? I feel really silly for not doing my research thoroughly. I have learnt however that if it looks to good to be true, it probably is....!

Many thanks.

  • Why not just use & enjoy the purse since presumably you bought one you like the look of and then every time you get it out it it will remind you to be more careful (as well as a lesson in not being obsessed by brand names - especially if you can't afford them yet)
