Speculative Question

There may be nothing and I apologise in advance if my question is a little dumb but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I've started a new job that pays 13000 p/a, its my first real job and I've recently graduated from Uni and I have no children.

Are there any measures that I can take to reduce or reclaim some of the tax that comes off me each month.

Thanks in advance.

pay into a pension..good news is that it reduces your tax but of course it also reduces your pay too.

any money you save..make sure you use your ISA allowances and look for the best rates.

but by and large no there's not much you can do if your are working on PAYE
