Grouper - A colourful, fun and extremely useful program for sharing files over the Internet. Using Grouper, you can connect to the PCs of your friends and set up a private P2P (peer to peer) network, allowing you to safely share images, videos, music, etc. Along with this, Grouper also allows you to send instant messages and contains no dodgy spyware or adware components.
Not suitable for ME or 98.

could be useful as some email wont allow you to receive attatchments.
You could use it to send pictures and text documents and I suppose your video clips that you make on holiday or from your camera phone and audio files you record of the kids for gran and grandad. Sounds interesting.
OP says its not for windows ME or windows 98 though.0
