I was suspended from work on the 21 Sept due to filling in forms incorrectly allegedly and forging signatures. I was given no information apart from a letter to read once I was off the premises, which they thoroughly enjoyed escorting me off.
I was told to go back on the Monday but got signed off with the stress of it all for a week until the 1 oct when I had to let them know if I was signed off again or going in. I recieved a letter on the monday asking me to come in to store on the 2nd of october and I could have someone in with me if I wished. later that day I had a phone call to tell me a conference had been set up for the tues 3rd instead of me going in. This went ahead where they told me what I was up for and I gave them my replies getting them to at least realise that I had not forged anyones signatures as I was not in work.
I was then told that a meeting would be set up for later in the week which happened to be the monday 8th October.
All week i was really ill thinking I had a bug until i went to the docs on the monday and had to go to hospital for tests. Again i was signed off for a week.
I was phoned later that day and advised that it would be better all round if i handed my notice in, that it didnt look good for me so it would probably be for the best. this was all I kept being told. As much as I said no.
Another date was set for Monday 15 which I admit I couldnt be bothered going to. They have told me that basicaly it doesnt look good so I am in for the sack no matter what i say so to my mind why would I want to go in there just to be humiliated by them walking me out again.
I then received a letter the next day telling me they have rescheduled the date again as I didnt go.
Can they keep doing this? I wouldnt have thought so. I want them to sack me as I know i did nothing wrong but they want me to resign. What is the reasoning behind this????
can anyone advise what or why they think it's better for me to resign??
