Umbrella advice

Can anyone recommed a brand or place to buy an umbrella, the small handbag type. I've 4 girls who walk to college/work. I've bought them all umbrellas but the first gust of wind and they break, some of them are on umbrella no.3 just this year! Is it worth it to buy the expensive ones? I have a very old fashioned looking one my mum gave me and it seems indestructable, I've had it for 4 years now.

I bought a small lightweight one from M&S about 3-4 years ago fir £5 and its still going strong. My nieces have had ones from As*a and Primarni and they have all broken. No brainer for me.

I gave up on umbrellas and just wear a raincoat with a hood now. Far easier all round.
