Starting to do window cleaning?

Wanting to start doing window cleaning p/t in my local area what do you think is the best way of going around it just want to do about 10 hours a week to earn some extra cash while building up my customers i am in woking in surrey any help would be much thanked

Years ago I helped two young men set up a window cleaning business.
Explore the insurance you would need.
Make sure you have a head for heights - we had people apply who then couldn't face that aspect of the job!
What will you use to convey your ladder and other materials? Make it noticeable as part of your marketing.0 -
In addition to the previous reply in my area you will also need a document from the local authority (I'll call it a licence but it may have another name and i also suspect some form of background check's)0

Might be worth looking on the Small Biz board - I know they'd recommend a session with Business Link, and there's guidance about registering as self-employed, and publicising new businesses as well.Signature removed for peace of mind0
