Another non spend day yesterday so that was great. Otherwise it was a pretty hassle-y day all in all. I serve on a voluntary committee and am getting a load of grief from some ex-members about some changes we want to do. Really, the tone of the communication is getting increasingly nasty and it bothers me (especially as it's voluntary!).
I went to body pump, which was great, really enjoyable and I can really feel the difference.
Busy day ahead - how's everyone doing?Trying to keep in budget.

i agree with HAW - food diaries achieve really great success in being able to identify those mystery calories just like mystery spends.
gien - i would not be one for tact, i would say what is your status...? ah yes EX member....IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER, THEN WHY ARE'NT YOU RICH?

YOu are so right CitizenKitten, I should just tell them to !!!!!! off, shouldn't I. It's all involving my children's school and we have quite a few women who, for what ever reason have ended up not working. The problem is, they need something to do and keep themselves occupied so they become busy body meddlers. I ended up with the job I have by accident and I'll be standing down in a few weeks, but I like some of the women I work with very much so I might carry on doing a little, quiet job.
So, One week gone by and how's it gone?
I've spent very littlle money and only on essentials in the cheapest shops. My meal planning has worked really well but I need to bulk up my veg a bit more.
Bad: I have eaten way too many sweet and fatty things - have had a real carb craving. I'm recording food in myfitnesspal.com
I have done a good amount of exercise and lost 1lb in weight. I'm signed up for a 5.5km run on Sunday so am training for that (well, I can run that distance no problem, just a case of getting faster)
I haven't drunk alcohol for 3 days (a good start, I struggle not to have a glass of wine a day , or more).
My sealed pot has been fed quite regularly and I am looking forward to opening at the end of November.
Goals for the next week:
Run and body pump regularly.
Do the 5.5 km run
Cut sweet carbs right out - bake stuff for kids.
Continue being Alcohol free.
Make groceries stretch to Friday again.
Get through this awful period with this voluntary organisation with my mental health intact and without hitting anyone!Trying to keep in budget.
