You can still give your toys to them or a charity shop.Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -
I'm trying to sell them but they arn't selling, they shall be with a charity by start of Dec either way, would just be helpful to have them go towards new ones for xmas for LO.
Charity will get them either way as just not sellingMummy to Lewis Born Aug 100 -
More T&C's added to the first post. Still no idea how many 'toys' make a donation though

Hi all,
I work for Argos and have been informed today about the promotion. Any toy = a donation. No matter how big or small. However if you have 5 toys you will only get the 1 voucher unless you take them in seperately.
And you can only use 1 £5 voucher per £35 transaction:coffee:0 -
Grrr knew it be one per £35 spend
Shame as would of been a life saver with so little to spend. Will drop a toy in thou still as know our boy v lucky where others have nothingMummy to Lewis Born Aug 100 -

Many thanks Glitter have added you to the opening post. Out of interest are Argos allowing Xbox/Nintendo games and consoles etc to be classed as 'toys' both as donations and purchases?0 -

With regards to donations i am not sure to be honest. I do not expect they would turn away donations.
However they would not be counted in purchases as games consoles and games are categorised under 'Technology' rather than 'Toys'.:coffee:0 -
So people are more worried about the £5 and the minimum spend but never mind lets forget about the people who genuinely need this stuff for their kids this christmas.
But if you want to be so self centered theres olympic toys reduced to 99p in argos that u could "trade" in for your precious £5 voucher!0 -

I hope this post isn't directed at me. I merely saw the advert and thought I would share the information. I am unsure how many saw the comercial and indeed if it would help some money savers on this site.
I will not be taking up the offer, I can't afford xmas gifts this year and thankfully I don't have children so they will not be dissapointed. I charity shop anything I can't/won't sell on ebay and I also purchase from charity shops when I can. I spend £70 a year excluding postage donation sending shoe boxes to children in foreign countries. Thats asside from Direct Debit charity payments, charity tins and dog/cat food dropped off at animal centres.
Someone out there may only have £40 to spend on their child/ren this year. This £5 could mean the child/ren gets an extra gift or a bigger gift. £5 is precious when you live on very little and bills are continuing to rise!0 -

It was not directly aimed at anyone in particular but if you were a stranger coming onto this site and seen some of the comments on this then you would think alot of people on here are just money greedy.
I commented because the fact that people were wondering if there was a £35 min spend Shows that somehow they have forgotten that this is for charity.
I also agree that people on here will be helped by the voucher but perhaps people could be more sensitive in the way they talk about a £5 voucher which may i add again is for GIVING a toy for CHARITY. It would help me also but reading peoples comments have put me off it.0
