I bought a few from Asda Living, they were a bit pricey though at about £4 for deep wicker ones.
  • If you have a dunelm mill near you then they often have a selection of baskets that would be suitable.

I got some baskets from Poundstretcher last week. They were reduced so about £2 and had a cotton liner.

I've used boxes covered in wrapping paper. Great for kids hampers, film night in hampers - will suit any hamper really. Depends if the person you're giving to will appreciate a proper basket or not....

  • I'm with cdsmiller on this one. I did hampers for family members a few years back and collected the lids off packs of A4 paper. Wrapped with Christmas paper, nobody really cared - it's all the little bits and bobs that count. :)
  • Poundstretcher / B+M can be good for this kind of stuff too :)

  • If you have a B&Ms next to you i got its like a storage basket kinda thing was only 1.99 and a good size :) x
  • I've seen a picture on another thread last year, and a kids hamper was in a plastic bin for their bedroom. Another hamper was items laid out on a tea tray. If you look at the pictures thread, there are more ideas.

If you want wicker hampers, though, I have bought from Dunelm Mill and Poundstretchers, but I did get them in the sales earlier this year. Dunelm also have some lovely hat boxes that would be suitable for hampers.
