I just got a call from the Hits Radio asking me if I remember entering a competition with them. Obviously I don't as I enter hundreds but I said yes. At first I though she said I had won a book but then she said 'the prize is £1000 which will be sent in the form of a cheque'.

I almost fell off my chair but to be honest, it just hasn't sunk in yet. That would mean so much to me (and solve all my Christmas problems) that I just can't get excited until I see that cheque (which could take up to two weeks)

I have entered a comp with them to win £1000 but that seems to have a July end date, would it really have taken this long?

The lady gave me her name and phone number and she already had my full name and address so I THINK it's real, I certainly HOPE it is :j
