Paying of secured + unsecured loan
Options
Hi,
I am remortgaging my house and am going to pay off a secured loan (GE Money) and a personal loan. Can i claim back payments made to payment protection as i have not used it? Also have seen posts about this rule 78 thing, the settlement figure for the secured loan is 33800 for an original loan of 25k taken out Oct 2005 - is that figure too high? Also the unsecured loan was for 3300 march 2006 with Northern Rock and they !!!! 4k to clear it is that high?
thanks
Andy

I feel sure that if you get both loans checked out by a company that specialises in auditing loan agreements, you will find that the amount you owe can be reduced substantially.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0
