Hi All
A few weeks ago my DH accidentally dropped my Kenwood Kmix stand mixer out of the boot of his car (taken it to help a friend with some cooking). After bouncing down the driveway it still works (phew) but it has scratched and damaged the paintwork on the top of the mixer.
Does anyone know of anywhere it can have a paint job (dont think I am capable of spraypainting it myself)? Like a specialist shop?
Or any other ideas for a repair?
I could always demand a Kitchenaid as compensation!!!!

Blimey for the price you must have paid for it i wouldnt have accepted it from DHL in the first place.
Its now 2 weeks since that happened so cant see DHL paying out anything.
Only place you could take it to see if they can spray it would be a car repairer place where they spray cars.
Could you put a sticker on it ?0 -
What colour is the paint?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

I may have picked the op up wrongly, but I don't think it has anything to do with DHL? From reading the post it the op's DH [dear husband] who dropped it on the driveway? I like your sticker or car workshop idea though.

Does it really matter that its a bit scratched,
It could be a talking point for years to come.
or as suggested, put a couple of fun stickers over the damage.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If the scratches are minor and the paint is white a bit of Tippex can work wonders. Or get a car paint scratch repair pen from Halfords.Val.0

I used plastic-kote white enamel paint to touch up some bits on the edges of my coooker that had rusted.A small pot [59ml] only cost a few pounds on Amazon. It is not good as new but was better than paying for a new cooker.
You could give it a try.

I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
