Trying to time the market is a mug's game, as geniuses like you and brit prove.0

You must, by your own definition, be a mug then. Having timed the market to buy "at the bottom" in 2009 then.
Why do you all your posts sound like some 11 year old who's busily telling everyone else he's got more collector cards than them?0

that was actually a joke at brit's expense, but it appears that geniuses like me should put stupid smileys after everything so that mugs like you can understand.0

nollag is a 40 year old professional landlord with a BTL portfolio which he acquired precisely at the bottom of the market (which moves boroughs, and perhaps dimensions, every six months). his tenants are fans of the HPC website who sold to rent (it has not been established whether that bruce banner chap is one of his tenants but i presume so) and he puts their rent up by 10% every month just to rub it in. he also doesn't understand how to calculate the return on his investments in these inter-dimensional properties with escalator rental agreements.
as such he is one of the more believable characters on this forum.0

ABBEY Wood residents are celebrating after house prices on the Crossrail route are forecast to soar by 25 per cent – boosting the “forgotten end” of Greenwich.Boris Johnson: "This is good news not just for Londoners but for the nation's economic health as a whole."
Finally...The coordinator of Abbey Wood Community Centre added that a lot of people currently rent out houses and she believes they will now reclaim them, renovate them and sell them on.
Guess it won't be all residents celebrating then. Tenants can look forward to eviction as investors cash in.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

People in Abbey Wood shouldn't worry too much - it doesn't matter how many stations they build there, it will still be a dump that no-one wants to live in. Prices may rise 25%, but 25% of not much is one quarter of not a lot.0
