(OT Chocolates and Voucher from Viking Direct

Hi Guys,

Sorry about this post as its slightly off topic, but i'm wondering if anyone had a bit of a mystery parcel from viking direct today?

I got home from work and there was a package addressed to 'Valued Customer' and inside was a box of Lindor chocolates and a letter from Viking saying

"Were are aware that over the last few months we've not always been able to maintain the high levels of customer service that you've come to expect from us. The good news is we've now sorted those issues out and we believe we're now back to our ususal high standards...."

"To say sorry we'd like to give you £50 (Excl VAT) off your next order. All you have to do is quote discount code xxxx when ordering. It's really as simple as that! Your voucher is valid until 28th September 207 and there is no minimum order"

Very strange as I'm not what I would consider a regular or high spending customer with Viking! In fact, the only thing I've bought in the last few months is the £29.99 leather chair! Anyone else recieved this through the post or have they got me confused with someone important lol

Hmm, I bought that chair too, does that mean I can expect a parcel?

Did you make any complaints about the chair?

I did have a couple of problems with it, where the arms broke off after a couple of weeks. I made a phone call to viking though and they picked up the faulty one and replaced it with a new one a couple of days later.

Great service I thought!
