Yeah, I would find it strange if someone I got used to seeing posting here suddenly didn't. Did you know that if we decide we want a break, or even to quit completely, we're not supposed to post to say so? From the forum rules:

Although I understand it, I think it's a shame. It would be better to know why people aren't posting anymore. Whether it's because they're fed up about something here, or whether because of something else.
