If you buy the Morrisons own stir fry paella, make sure you check it carefully. I just nearly broke my tooth and hurt my gum on a foreign object. It looks like a half tube, black and smooth like glass but much stronger than glass.

Nope im not after compo or drama. Just thought I'd pass this on incase theres a problem.

2 choices;

1.tell Morrisons and they will probably give you something nice

OR

2. give it to Trading Standards who will follow it up- it could have caused somebody a nasty accident.

Big companies hide a lot of their failings by immediately being 'nice' to people who find foriegn objects, so that the true level of the number of mistakes they actually make is never revealed. Tradings standards only gets to know if people go direct to them to complain instead. If the customer has returned the foriegn body to the company, there is then nowt that Trading Standards can do.

Companies should be taken to task, one day it might be that they really hurt someone with their lack of hygiene ans standards.

Thank you for your reply.

I sent them an email explaining what happened, offering to send the object to them. They were most apologetic and are sending me a pre paid envelope. Hopefully it wont happen again! It will make me more aware of checking food, especially now my boys are eating solid family food.

It did cause me some damage. My gum and tooth are sore ouch.x
