payslips

I was wondering what is the law on payslips? I am currently in dispute with an employer who has never provided me with a contract nor a payslip in 18 months.
Can I ask my employes for payslips and what is the law regarding how they should be presented and within what time frame, also how far backdated can I ask for as there is a dispute over wages and I need payslips for reference.
Cheers.

OK despite my last post on your other thread, He also has a responsibility. I think should be entitled to ALL your payslips (unless he has been doing a backhander in which case you need to get it reported (CAB at a guess)). You need to be able to prove he has been paying your Nat Ins etc (this happened to a mate about 25 years ago employer ended up in DEEP trouble)0

How long would be a reasonable timeframe to except receipt of said payslips?0

7 days to get all of them is enough time if they have been operating a correct payroll system.Wolfmother wrote: »How long would be a reasonable timeframe to except receipt of said payslips?
