Any ideas on which retailers would employ a just turned 16 year old(still at school) for part time work.

Most will, if your selling alcohol or cigarettes you'll need to be overseen by another staff member though.0

Yeah pretty much any, I worked for the corner shop at that age (a Spar).0

Try retail or waiting, possibly bar work (glass collectors, can't serve alcohol).0

Some places say you have to be of compulsory school leaving age sainsburys definite and possibly asda. Looks like smiths take people still at school possibly Boots, Debenhams, argos, house of fraser, probably most of the major high street ones and places like pizza hut...maybe the cinema/bowling alley just make them aware that competition will probably be fierce even for a weekend job."It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." :T0
