Hi,
Looking for a purple bike. Did I miss the good deals from Argos earlier this year? I'm not sure what time is the best to buy them tbh but looking to buy one. What are the best prices out there that I should look out for especially during deals season?

Sorry I don't have any deals, just a recommendation.
We found balance bikes amazing. Forget having to teach your child to balance and breaking your back pushing them up and down while they learn to ride.
Get a balance bike and as it has no pedals they learn to push along with their feet and balance by themselves. When they progress to pedals they pick it up fast with pretty much zero help!
The theory is we've historically been teaching our kids to ride a bike, the wrong way around because they should learn balancing first, then pedals. Check out YouTube for balance bike videos to see how kids use them.
Our boys just turned 3 and LOVE theirs! We went for the Bike Star ones on Amazon but not sure they do purple. Just had a look on Amazon and there are a couple of purple ones on there.
(Sorry if this isn't particularly useful to you, I just wanted to spread the word about balance bikes as I'm always amazed that people haven't heard of them.)Pay off CC debt by Xmas 2017 #095 £0 of £11,416 :eek:0 -

Thank you for your replies everyone. It's for a present and I don't have a clue about bikes so I will check out balance bikes.

I saw a really nice bike today but it was £40. Was pink (wanted purple) but it would have been good. I thought I would manage to find one under £20 to test whether it would be used much or if it was a phase but I'm still keeping a lookout.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0
