Hi
I'm struggling with my present list due to an unexpected operation, and wondered if the wonderful people on this board could help?
OH (23) - likes his tech, is allergic to most male beauty stuff (£50 budget)
Mum (57), has everything and a box to put it in (£35 budget)
Dad (49), likes F1, doesnt drink and is on a strict diet (£35 budget)
Niece (4), likes anything (£10 budget)
Best friend (28), proper girly girl, doesnt drink (£10 budget)
Nephew (1) budget £10
Niece (8), has ASD so doesn't like christmas too much but likes to open something when everyone else does (£10 budget)
Niece (7), tomboy, likes martial arts (£10 budget)
Nan (78) loves football and whisky. (£35 budget)
Uncle (51) severely disabled in limbs so can be a sod to buy for (£35 budget)
I'm housebound at the moment, but OH can always pop out and collect, but I'm at a loss as to what to get as I've been away for the holidays the last 3 years so have always given money/giftcards, and anything that can be delivered to home would be a godsend!

oh poor you, best wishes and hope ur recovered very soon.
do you have a home bargains close by? They have some wonderful little gifts for children, they have barbies and polly pockets really cheap, got my dd (5) polly pocket water slide park for £7.99 and rrp is over £20!
for your best friend what about a little hamper (oh can get the gifts & you still get the fun of arranging & wrapping the!) you could include a hot water bottle, eye mask, some relaxing bath goodies etc.
you could do similar hampers for your adult family members but based on their likes, for example, the f1 lover could have a "grow ur own sports car"- amazon £3ish, an f1 book, maybe a selection of tea/coffee.
again hb will have toys/gifts to suit any younger family member.
hope this is some help to youIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
oh, just one more, i dont know how crafty you are, but my mum is also the woman who has everything, so this year i have made a scrapbook of her 5 grandchildren, its part of a joint hamper gift for her and dad, it also includes a framed pic of kids, a "best grandparents on board" car sign - amazon, keyrings, some teas/coffees etc. could you do something like this? It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

Oh how horrid, I hope you're recovering ok. I had a similar situation last year and was pretty much housebound from October to January. The only plus side was that I got to stay toasty warm while everyone else was outside getting cold and wet

The first thing I'd suggest would be to sign up to an Amazon Prime free trial. This will get you free next day delivery on many Amazon items for 1 month - just remember to cancel it.
I've had a quick think and here are some ideas. I hope they are of some use
OH (23) - My OH is getting lego. Would your OH appreciate something like Lego Tecnic
Mum (57), I like the scrapbook idea, but you could also consider a personalised Calendar or Diary

Dad (49), Senna on DVD and a couple of other little bits

Niece (4) A jewellery making kit. Fancy Dress. Board game
Best friend (28), Perfume or make up

Niece (7), this one has me stumped but I'll keep thinking
Nan (78) How about a Whisky Lovers mini hamper

Along with a nice bottle and glass
Uncle (51) How about a DVD boxset0 -
Thankyou so so so much! I've been stressing about it for the last 2 days, and you have been so much help. I've had a look at amazon prime, it looks wonderful! And thankyou so much for the ideas, I've ordered the whisky lovers hamper from amazon, some bits from the disney shop for the little ones, and I'm going to speak with my dad who has lots of photos of all the family for either a scrapbook or a calender.
Again, thankyou, you have really helped so much.

Halfcost are doing the free postage offer for spends of £10+ plus at the moment. Sure you could pick up some bargains on there. (I DON'T work for them! Just a regular shopper).
