Last week i looked at a matteress and base totally just under £1200 for both. Came back to John lewis to purchase it and the cheek, the exact same base has gone up £150!!! Spoke to the staff in store and they said yes it has gone up and they couldnt offer it at the previous price and to check after 27th december to see if it has been reduced! Phoned their complaints dept and they said the same. The most annoying thing is the old price tag is still underneath the old one!!! Grrr so furstrating. I can understand price increases but £150?!

Can you find it anywhere else, hopefully cheaper, and ask JL to pricematch?

Think its 'exclusive to JL' :( We have wedding vouchers to use and would feel like were throwing away to first £150 if we use it for that bed now just it was exactly what we were looking for.

    Hardly a rip off :/
Theyve simply changed the price that's all

Would you be complaining fi when you went in it was £150 CHEAPER?

JL prices are a rip off anyway, especially on things like beds. So it's a shame you have vouchers to spend. The things that are better priced would be things like TV's. So if you need one of those, then use the vouchers for the TV, and then buy a bed on line for half the price.
