As the title says, just had the mothercare christmas catalogue delivered with flyer stating the ELC/Mothercare half term half price sale starts 16 Oct 2012 - 4th Nov 2012
Not sure if extra 20% code posted on Discount Code thread will work if you order on Mothercare

Thank you Lisa x
Welcome, I've just tried using the birthday code on ELC against couple of bits I have my eye on that are already reduced but it won't work. Also tried the code listed for mothercare, this won't work now either though was working first thing as was debating buying the kettle cottage for little one but decided against it. Does anyone know of any codes please that will work with the sale items??0 -
mothercare code works for me against all the toys (over £15)

I cant get the code to work on a £20 item- it is full priced and over £15- but it works on a £59.99 item ?? Sadly it dosnt give me a discount on anything that is already reduced either.... Looks like some good deals in the half term sale, added a few bits to my basket for later ;-)0

Glad its not just me though not sure If I'm perhaps still doing something wrong. Would anyone mind putting just the tea trolley in their basket please and try the code with it and see if they can get it to accept? Many thanks in advance
Also Wanted to buy the sherwood castle, but can't get the code to work with that either0 -
It's my first post so be gentle with me
This evening I visited the ELC in Speke Liverpool and all sale items had already been marked down with 50% discount for the half term half price offer. Including a lot of happyland items etc.
At the till I presented my 20% off big birthday voucher (worth a shot eh?) and after a quick chat amongst themselves they concluded that it was valid across ALL items. They clearly didn't read it as it stated along the bottom excluding sale items & promotions as I discovered once home.
They scanned through the till with the 50% sale discount and then they manually discounted a further 20% off.
I went back for seconds once I had loaded my car
Happyland zoo RRP £60 in my bag for £24!
Fairytale castle RRP £30, a snip at £12 (so I got 2, would be rude not to)
I also bought some of the 2 for £15 items. Plus 20% off the £15.
Maybe it's just the one store? It's always worth trying your luck!Wins to date: Pair of tickets to the Diamond Jubilee garden party & concert 2012. A Persil bunny.0 -
I think you got a real a bargain there Charlie30 as I have always found Mothercare and ELC to be quite strict about the 'not valid with any other offer' rule- I have never got lucky yet- but worth a shot hey!?!0

Think Charlie30 did!!! never known them to accept other vouchers when offer on.
Just placed my order on mothercare with ease, everything in stock. Shame couldn't get any codes to work on mothercare or ELC. Never mind still some lovely bits still at good prices! Roll on the Sainsbury toy sale :j0 -
I'm chuffed as got the Happyland village for £30. It's my daughters 2nd birthday in February and that was the last thing I wanted to get. Just keeping my eye out for the storage box to come back into stock0
