an affiliate link is where somebody gains monetarily from people clicking on the link. Affiliate links aren't permitted on MSE at all, see this rule.

Your link in the OP isn't an affiliate link so don't worry. However somebody posted an affiliate link to the £20 offer just after your OP, which was removed

Don't think so, unless the offers on there, as you'd need to use the link in OP.

That's right, in my experience LoveFilm don't pay affiliates (including cashback sites) when someone signs up using a promotion code/link.
