Does anyone know when the sale starts at Marks please.
Need an expensive quilt.
The sale starts in store on Boxing Day and I have it in my head that it starts online on Christmas Day.
I don't know that they put quilts in the sale though, because they stock the same ranges permanently so unless they're discontinuing a particular line, why would they put them on sale?! I think you'd need to wait for a 20% event to get any money off.
Quilt covers etc normally go in the sale.0 -

Grr, hamper nightmare. Sat in all day yesterday waiting for cheeseboard and it was a no show. Rang marksys this morning and was told that they had tried to deliver twenty minutes prior to my call and had taken it back to depot. Could not get it through to telephone man that it was a day late and that no card had been left and that it was perishable. Parcel force office had no trace of it even though marksys man then scheduled it to come tomorrow? I said 'but it is perishable, will it be the same parcel?' And he said yes! What are you supposed to do with that?Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:

Just been looking on M&S website at the hampers and it says
Our chilled hampers are available for delivery between 18 and 22 December. They will be delivered in a Chill Buddy box, which stays less than 5°C for 72 hours ensuring the contents stay fresh and delicious
So hopefully it should still be cold for a while until you get it sorted.0 -
Thanks for that. Lets hope it arrives, ever! Just had other last minute purchases cancelled as well! Who ever said online shopping was quick and easy was a great big liar! Parcel force may have lobbed stuff over my back fence or left it on my doorstep for all to see but they have never not left a card through the door. The guy on the phone was very pleasant but couldn't grasp that people had taken time off after recieving very specific emails about delivery etc.Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:

If parcel force can't deliver round here it goes to the local post office but they didn't tell us a few weeks ago and I only discovered we had a parcel when I went in for ramps.
