I feel like utter poo today, I haven't been properly ill since January
Bunny is eating a bit more now which is good. We bought a little cat hut for £5 for the buns and the female bun is LOVING it! Rolling around in it and everything haha, certainly worth a fiver if only for amusement! 0 -
Look forward to reading

Mum's coming up to help me clean the house cos I'm so stressed out at the moment

My house is falling apart and I hate living here
Gives me motivation to 'get saving' but it seems like a long way off. 0 -
This week I'm sending letters to Natwest & Santander to close two old current accounts down. I did request Santander close my account when I moved my current account to YB, but it didn't happen.
They've got my old address still too, which is a bit of a problem.
I noticed on my credit report my local council doesn't have me as living at my new address but I'm sure I put myself on the electoral roll, plus I just got some cards in the post to vote for the new commissioner for my area :S so they must do, surely?0 -
Had to go home ill
Had no choice really, contagiousness and all that. Hopefully it won't be toooo noticeable on the pay packet! 0 -
Tried to work out how much spare we'll have next month and erm I'm sure I've added it up wrong!!! Maths was never my strong point. If it's right that would be bloody good, that's my loan paid off right there with spare change ...
Decided to make it our goal to reduce our monthly expenditure to £1,200 per month. It's perfectly doable if we clear the debts out of the way! It's currently around £1,700.0 -
Had a bit of a scare over the last couple of days - girl bunny has been making a nest ! The last thing we want is babies when we've just had the boy neutered, lol.
OH said last night that his work are making 20 redundancies after Christmas and they have already made 12 this month
He's going to stay at his 2nd job (who have offered him a full time contract if he wants it) just in case the worst happens. The pay is £1 less an hour though.
We're planning to put some money away into an emergency pot this month and next month so that we have some money aside if he does end up being made redundant.0 -
Not really feeling optimistic about anything today. We were considering staying put in this house we hate as we wanted to pay off debts, save for a house deposit etc but now I'm considering moving back up near my Mum. It'll cost about a grand, or less depending on how much of the deposit we get back from this house, and after all the problems with the agency I doubt it;d be much. I dislike that life revolves too much around money!0

BF got his summary for his DMP today. We're going to get his free credit report from Noddle later, see what it says. Hei s planning to cancel the DMP and contact the people who hold the debt to see if we can arrange a plan directly with them rather than through the DMP. He'd like to have them paid off as soon as poss...
Also, we have decided that we are definitely moving at the end of February. Not worth staying in a house we hate and holding out hope we'll be approved for a mortgage in the next year - may as well find a house we are happy to rent for a couple of years and take the time to repair credit and get a decent deposit etc.0 -
Wow, Noddle is super useful. I need to change my address on my old bank account 'cos I only have a Maestro and as the address isn't right on my Visa card it doesn't work.
BF has been defaulted on every payment since October last year, when he entered his DMP. The good news is he only owes about £2,000 so we can get that sorted fairly quickly.0
