Tips & advice interview this week

Well, Ive been looking for work for about 18 month. Im a single parent & childcare friendly hours are hard to come by atm.
Its purely thanks to a friend offering to watch my daughter on a saturday, that Ive managed to get an interview for a christmas temp at a supermarket.
Im nervous about temp work, ie signing off benefits, and having to possibly resign on in 8-9 weeks - has anyone done this before, was it easy to do? Im a worrier at the best of times so I am freaking out a little:eek:.
If Im lucky enough to be offered the temp role, I will take it as I could do with a recent reference, and I know it will give my confidence a boost, though at the back of my mind Im praying it will go to permanent, or Il find a job straight after so I don't have to move back onto benefits etc.
The interview is my next fear. I have a solid work history, leaving only because my daughter fell ill when she was 18 months old. I was at my last company for 7 years, took 1 year out, and have been looking for 18 months so my last interview was a long time ago, and for a completely different role.
Im trying to think of questions to ask if given the chance, I know Il ask if they will take on permanent staff, but I can not think of anything else....my brain is seriously rusty:rotfl:
Anyway, any tips or advise would be much appreciated - also its Sainsbury's Ive applied to if anyone else has been through their interview and give me an idea of what to expect
thank you

Ive had a call from the Jobcentre - wasnt sure they'd get back to me before my interview hence posting on here.
Re moving back to benefits if not taken on permanently, its normally pretty quick as Id only have recently signed off, and there is a run on in tax credits to tide me over if the role ends.
Just thought Id update incase anyone else reading was in a simular situation.
The only thing I need to be sure is that it lasts over 5 weeks to be entitled for help from tax credits.
All seems good fingers crossed for the interview!MFW

This might help a little? I know you're not a student but the advice is sound.
