    Yes, money doesn't exist until it's borrowed, hence why the economy is so bad just now. Banks are not lending to small businesses, as a result no manufacture, no money to pay wages, so no money to spend in the shops.
    We are at the banks mercy, until they open their purse strings to business again were stuck in this recession.
