Need Mortgage Help?

My wife stays at home with the two kids and is 12 weeks pregnant.
I'm on £13k a year and we have a loan for £19k.
The loan ends in 2010.

I have tried looking at the Northern Rock Altogether Mortgage but the most I can get a mortgage for is £30k.
Is there anything at all I can do to but a house?
The lowest house price here in Swansea is about £110k.

    Could you get into a housing association which would then allow you to build up your stake in a house gradually? If not you've probably worked out for yourself that those figures don't add up. There must be tax credits on top of the 13k too, but it still won't look good.

    Yes, there are Tax Credits etc but that money is for the kids really. Not for us! :)
