Handed in notice need help ASAP !!

Hi basically I've been on a sick note fr approx 8 weeks from employer due to been bullied etc. I have found myself another job and handed in my notice last Wednesday which runs out on 17th all I need to know is if I get paid weekly in arrears when should I get my last weeks pay a unpaid holiday pay ? Also acas informed me that if I put into notice I only want contact via letter or email ( so I can keep a record so they can't lie ) is this true and do they have to honour this ? I need my pay as I have a child to look after a my new job won't pay till 2 weeks after I start so just a bit of advice I need please ? X

Also should add my current sick note doesn't run out until 14th November so my notice is covered by that six note isn't it ?? Hanks for replies in advance x0

Yes, your sick note will cover you until your notice period runs out.
If you are a paid a week in arrears, then assuming you get paid say Fridays, then NEXT Friday (19th), you would be paid for THIS week, then the following Friday (26th) you should get paid for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. I'm assuming you get full pay whilst off sick?? On the 26th, they should also pay you any holiday you are owed. You need to work out how many days you are owed that you haven't taken.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

I am owed 3.5 days which I have said in my notice , only get SSP but its better than nothing , during my notice period seeing as I'm off sick will I get normal pay or just another week SsP ? Thanks for your help0

Full pay during notice depends on the company contractual notice and the statutory notice.

I just have one weeks with of notice as I've been one year and it sas so in my contract , is the normal pay set by average hours worked prior to sickness ? X0

If the company notice to you would be one week so statutory then they should pay you for your notice period.
This will depend on your contracted hours/pay and the definition of a "weeks pay" in the employment act.0
